Freedom Journey

This blog was created on Saturday March 22, 2014, and is geared to folks whose steadfast aim is freedom through learning, teaching and DOING truth. Incorrect beliefs can prevent constructive forward motions. We cannot afford to allow ignorance, pride and stubbornness to keep us deceived.

Refuse to be prisoners of your perceptions. Cast away nonsense traditions. Freedom resides in authentic and proven truths.

REAL truth is freedom!

Only GOD is perfect. It's vital to seek the Lord to expose errors. Please ask Him to expose any areas of darkness and for what is necessary to DO to dispossess what's NOT of truth.

Hi -

First of all, many heterosexual folks are getting tired of some of the homosexual folks major complaining because we disagree with their lifestyle. They promote their rights to be homosexual and get upset because we assert our rights to disagree. I don't hate homosexuals but I do disagree with their lifestyle. That’s my belief and I firmly adhere to it just like they firmly adhere to their beliefs.

In no way do I support bashing homosexuals or bullying them nor do I support them doing it to us. Ain't nothing wrong with disagreements as long as they're lawful and don't abuse people.

And yes, I firmly believe in loving people of ALL cultures, races, and persuasions -- but loving doesn't ALWAYS mean agreement.

Many homosexuals call us anti gay and homophobic but what about them being anti heterosexual and anti folks that don't believe in homosexuality?

They want us to be more tolerant but many of them are intolerant of us holding firm to our beliefs to be against same sex sexual relationships and same-sex marriage.

They need to practice what they expect -- tolerance!

Baby Christians

Hi -

The Lord removed me from church building attendance. Increasingly, He's calling more of His people out of church buildings; however, when I was a baby Christian, I sat "under" preachers and teachers for years in church building settings . . .

Do you believe that BABY Christians should attend church buildings to get foundational and other truths from preachers and teachers?

Audio Recording of Truth-Telling Member Being Put Out of T. D. Jakes' Potter's House

Hi -

Below is a link to an audio recording of David Lee who was put out of T.D. Jakes' Potter's House -- North Dallas pastored by Sheryl Brady.  David, a Christian who'd been part of Jakes' ministry for more than 20 years was stripped of his ministerial license and put out of the church for being a truth-teller.

Here's the audio recording link of the incident.  The background music is loud but what's going on can still be heard.

Here's a link to the story and for information about David's book.

Aiming to Guilt Trip Folks with Hebrews 10:25, "Not forsaking of ourselves. . ."

Hi -

I'm not sure for how long it's been but there are folks who do false teaching with this scripture:

Hebrews 10:25 - KJV
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; . . .

There are die-hard church attending folks who believe that disobedience to scripture is in place relative to people who abide in the Lord but have ceased to attend church buildings. Commonly, the die-hard church building folks use that Hebrews 10:25 - KJV scripture to justify their false teaching relative to assembling.

That scripture doesn't instruct that assembling of GOD's people has to be in church buildings.

TRULY, GOD has called some folks out from assembling in church buildings. We assemble elsewhere.
Obeying GOD should come before anyone and anything. If GOD hasn't called people out -- then of course, they should remain in attendance at church buildings. Truth is that GOD has indeed called some folks out and folks aiming to guilt trip us (Hebrews 10:25, etc.) about obeying GOD -- ain't it. Nor should we out of churchers seek to guilt trip folks into leaving. The will of GOD should prevail for us ALL who claim Him as Lord.

It's wrong for the die-hard church attendees to pressure folks to be in church for "coverings." That's not aligned with scriptural content. Our covering is Jesus Christ, the resurrected Son of the living GOD.

It's vital to commune with God/Jesus/Holy Spirit through prayer, reading and studying the Holy Bible, praise and worship actions, and learning from holy folks who are rooted and grounded in the Lord and His ways.
GOD commands that He be our first love. There are no suitable substitutes for GOD and spending regular quality time in His presence -- learning from Him through prayer, Bible study and using other helpful resources to gain better understanding of truths.

Some folks have ceased to assemble in church buildings for ungodly reasons such as bitterness and unforgiveness. Certainly, that's NOT God's way.

The experience of numerous holy out of churchers is that, largely, church buildings have become dens of iniquity. Our choices to assemble elsewhere have proven to be more spiritually profitable . . . and considerably better than anything that we experienced when we were attending church buildings.

The only one who is NEVER wrong is GOD. . .

Jews and Gentiles

Hi -

This a.m., I posted the subject topic in the Facebook group, Spirit Led.

I've read in this group and elsewhere -- topics and comments relative to what's written in Holy Bible content that pertained to Jews/Israelites, but that DIDN'T pertain to Gentiles. There are distinctions made between Jews and Gentiles relative to what's contained in Scriptures.

And then it has been expressed that we're no longer under the law -- for the most part -- I get that. But what I'm not sufficiently getting is -- what do we adhere to relative to what's written in the New Testament? Are we to adhere to what was written AFTER Jesus' resurrection or do we adhere to what was written BEFORE His resurrection -- or a combination of both and how so?
